After the Great Silence, the deposits of the old world became the new mountains. As temperatures rose, their peaks melted into a synthetic lava. Once cooled, it became monolith. Humans gathered these masses, sculpted by time, and turned them into the Anthropes, so heavy that whenever they are moved, the world stops turning.
